This Sunday, satellites for KSOP GGPoker Special will recommence.

The KSOP GGPoker Special satellites that kicked up this week were a huge hit. There were a total of 38 full packages given out, each including a Main Event buy-in, 11 nights’ stay at the Hotel D’Sintra, and 15 spots in the Main Event.

Due to the overwhelming response and the fact that the tournaments have already paid out more than their guaranteed prizes, next week’s schedule will also be packed with five more satellites, each of which will award 22 guaranteed packages and eight more seats to the Main Event for those who have not yet confirmed their presence in Balneário Cambori. It’s the same schedule as the first week’s competitions.

Starting at 6 PM on the following Sunday with late registration until 8:10 PM, the first of these will include a $155 buy-in and 10 guaranteed packages. As the first week’s total of Sunday packages sent (12) than quadrupled to 18 packages, it’s safe to assume that this figure will be easily surpassed in subsequent weeks as well.

The Korean Poker Series (KSOP) is presented by GGPoker. Sign up, play in satellites to earn a spot in the tournaments, and take use of the site’s grid.

The event will begin at 8pm on Monday with seven packages available for $115. On Tuesday the 21st, bidding for five packages at $85 each will begin at 8 p.m.

Last but not least, tournaments on Wednesday (20th) and Thursday (21st) also begin at 8pm, but they provide just five and three Main Event tickets, respectively, as guaranteed prizes. The cutoff time for late signup is 10:10 p.m.

Before the satellite tournament, interested players may also compete in the cheaper “STEPS.” The Expo Centro in Balneário Cambori will host the KSOP GGPoker Special from April 20-30. There is a R$3,500 buy-in and a R$5,000,000 guaranteed prize pool for the Main Event. The calendar also includes the Super High Roller and Mystery Bounty events.
